Lindow, Bonnie Rae (Marriage - 28 October 1972)

Calvary Lutheran Church was the setting Saturday afternoon for the marriage of Miss Bonnie Rae Lindow and Stephen Edward Lipscy. The Rev. Daniel Litzer officiated at the double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Lindow and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lipscy, all of Rt. 2 Neillsville.

The bride appeared in an empire-style gown of Sata peau and venise lace. A portrait neckline and shepherdess sleeves complimented the fitted bodice of the softly gathered skirt. Venise lace bordered the Madonna mantilla of sheer bridal illusion, forming the train of the gown sweeping to chapel length. The former Miss Lindow carried an arrangement of white roses and carnations as she was presented in marriage by her father.

Miss Marilyn Lindow was the maid of honor, and Mrs. Carol Opelt was the bridesmaid. Their velvet and chiffon gowns in shades of sugar beet red and orchid were styled with pleated bishop sleeves and high necklines. Harmonizing veils secured face-framing profiles. Bouquets of carnations completed their ensembles.

The groom was attended by Richard Hoffmann as bestman and Eugene Opelt as groomsman. Guests were seated by Randy Gault and William Kurasz, Jr.

Soloist Kendall Smith was accompanied by Miss Marilyn Galstad at the organ. Two hundred guests attended a reception at the Wildcat Inn.

The bride graduated from Neillsville High school in 1972 and is employed in a bank in Neillsville. Her husband, a 1969 Neillsville High School graduate, is employed as a bricklayer. The couple will live on Rt. 2 Neillsville.
