Westphal, Elizabeth (16 MAY 1864 – 5 MAY 1934)

Mrs. Elizabeth Westphal was born in Buffalo, N.Y., May 16, 1864, and passed away at her home in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) Saturday afternoon, May 5, 1934. At the age of three eyars she came with her parents to Clark Co.,Wis., where she has since resided.

Shew as united in marriage to Wm. Westphal on March 25, 1884. He passed away in 1916. In 1917 she was married to Fred Schmidt, who survives her. She has been an invalid for the past nine years.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Claude Westphal of Neillsville, two daughters, Dimple (Mrs. Elmer Stafford) of this city, and Nina (Mrs. Helmuth Seims), Neillsville, and a number of grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Neillsville Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at 2:00 from the Methodist Church, Rev. P.B. White officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Neillsville Cemetery.
