Mr. and Mrs. Sather came to Greenwood in 1953, where he built their home and supervised the building of the new addition to the Greenwood High School, work on the Mead Lake and the remodeling of Grace Methodist Church. They returned to Milwaukee in 1960. Mrs. Sather died October 2, 1962.

Surviving him are a son, the Rev. Gordo n Sather of Memphis, Tenn.; two grandsons, Randall and Dawson Sather; and nine brothers and sisters in Norway.

Funeral services were held October 4 in Milwaukee. The Rev. H. Johnson officiated and burial was made in Forest Home Cemetery there. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Roy McConnell and daughter, Doris, of Beloit attended the funeral.
