Our Savior's Lutheran Church in the town of Holway (Taylor Co., Wis.) was the scene for the wedding of Miss Gail Elaine Staab and Roger Edmund Alger on Saturday, May 28th, 1966. Pastor Fellock performed the two p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Staab, PSR, Medford, and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Alger, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), Route 3.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an Alencon lace floor length gown with overskirt and Alencon lace in double tiers formed a chapel train. Three row crown of seed pearls and zircons held her illusion veil and she carried a bouquet of red roses.

Marlys Staab was her sister's maid of honor, and Mrs. Peggy Maier, sister of the groom, and Ruth Staab, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. They all wore pink satin floor length gowns with batman capes. There headpieces were bouffant veils and each carried long stem carnations.

Kathy Hoeck, cousin of the bride, was flower girl, wearing a pink lace floor length gown and carried a basket bouquet. Roger Staab, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

Rick Alger, brother of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Bill Alger, also brother of the groom, and John Lindquist, friend of the groom. Ushers were Kurt and Kent Staab, brothers of the bride.

A dinner for 100 guests followed the ceremony in the church basement. A reception and dance were held in the Thorp American Legion Hall. A four tier cake made in a design of a cross by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Milton Staab, was cut and served by the groom's cousin, Karen Alger.

The bride, a graduate of Medford High School, is employed in the office of Packaging Products Corp. in Milwaukee. The groom, a graduate of Thorp High School, is an assembler at Warnischfeger Corp. in Milwaukee. After a wedding trip to Niagara, the new Mr. and Mrs. Alger will make their home at 3328 A.W. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.

Out of town guests came from Medford, Thorp, Stanley, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dorchester, Rochester, Minn., Stewartville, Minn., St. Paul, Minn., La Crosse, Minneapolis, Minn., Greenwood, West Allis and Wausau.
