Grabe, Kenneth A. (25 November 1896 - 29 August 1972)

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the York Center United Methodist Church for a former area resident, Kenneth A. Grabe, 75, who died August 29 at the Veterans Administration Hospital a Wood. The Rev. Gene Carlson of Loyal will officiated Friends may call beginning this (Thursday) morning at the Georgas Funeral Home, where the body of Mr. Grabe will be in state until noon Friday when it will be taken to the church. Burial will be made in the York Center Cemetery.

Kenneth Grabe, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Grabe, was born November 25, 1896, at Granton and was educated there. His marriage to the former Amelia Arndt took place in 1925 at Granton. Mr. Grabe farmed in the York Center and Neillsville areas and was employed at Kimberly-Clark in Neenah as a stenciler. He entered Military service on October 21, 1918, and was discharged on December 17 of that same year. He spent the last 10 years in the Veterans Hospital at Wood.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Robert, of Berlin; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
