Berth Hubbard, Mrs. Mabel Misfeldt, Mrs. Floyd Cook and Mrs. Harvey Boie attended the funeral of a cousin, Harry Parr at Mondovi on Thursday. They also visited Mrs. Nora McGuine at the hospital in Durand.

Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kass visited Mr. Frank Schmitke in the hospital in Neillsville, where he is a patient, on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. John Klugiewicz and son of Gilman, Mrs. Stanley Wargolet and Mrs. Sally Wargolet returned home Tuesday after attending the Anton Klugiewicz funeral in Milwaukee, Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Czech visited with Leon Kaczmarek at Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire last week, also stopped and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kolodziej.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Kodl and son Mark of Wausau were Sunday dinner guests at the Albert Kodl home.

Mrs. Albert Kodl visited with Mrs. Chet Zajack on Tuesday.

Albert Kodl put in a field of oats on Monday.

Mrs. Edw. Przybylski and Mrs. Margaret Sandel spent a week in Milwaukee, and also attended the Holy Communion ceremonies of granddaughter, Diane Sandel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sandel.

Ed Sandel motored to Thorp, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Ed Przybylski and Pvt. Bernard Przybylski. Ed returned to Milwaukee the following day, accompanied by Miss Arlene Kosik.

Private Bernard Przybylski spent a week of his 20 day leave with sister, Bernice and family, also brother, Louis and family, at Milwaukee. He spent a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Przybylski, also sisters, Louise and Barbara and families. He will spend 3 days with sister, Joan and family at Chicago. From there he will fly to San Francisco, go by ship to Hawaii, and on to Guam, with a few days rest at each port. Then on to Viet Nam. God keep you in his care Bernie.

Pvt. Donald Buss spent a 14 day leave from Ft. Hood, Texas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Buss, and also visited with other friends and relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wally Symbal Jr. of St. Paul, Minn. Spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander of Thorp and Mr. and Mrs. Wally Symbal of St. Paul, Minn. Spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malaszuk at Holcombe.

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Deutschlander and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander spent last week in Chicago, Ill. Visiting relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Stewart of Withee spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. A.E. Sapetta.
