One morning last week when a blizzard was raging with all its fury it played havoc with C. Guk’s wind mill by stripping it of all the tail feathers and demolishing the wings to such an extent that an expert was required to repair the damage.

Miss Anna Miller of Rockford, Ill. is spending a frew weeks with her sister Mrs. C. Albrecht.

Mrs. E. Steinbach moved her household goods to Chili Monday to be shipped to Forest Junction where she and her children will follow in a few days.

The stallions Colonel and Thumper, Chas. Guk, owner will stand at the Herman Wegner barn, Granton every Wednesday, commencing the 22^nd day of April, and every Saturday at Mat Yeger’s near the Yellow River Bridge.

Miss Elizabeth Guk of Milwaukee spent a few days with relatives in East Lynn last week.

The only one who is prepared for this cold backward spring is Rob Nankivell.  His crop of whiskers will turn both wind and water.

Will Grade and family moved to Lindsey Tuesday.
