Raab, Mrs. Jesse Royal Neighbor Award (08 30 1968)

Hope Camp 819 Royal Neighbors of America met Tuesday evening at 8 p.m.in the community Rooms of the Citizens State Bank Building.

The meeting was called to order by Oracle, Mrs.Frank Kline. Vice Oracle Mrs. Bert Mengel introduced the visitors, Mrs. Caroline Seidl our District Deputy from Marshfield. Mrs. Harlan Bergemann, Mrs. Willard Ziemendorf and Mrs. Ken Steiger, Greenwood, also were visitors.

Mrs. Herbert Fenner, Recorder, read the minutes from the previous meeting which were approved.

It was reported that Sue Olsen was hit by a car and has been in the hospital but came home Monday night.

Oracle Mrs. Kline asked Mrs. Seidl to present Mrs. Jesse Raab with a 50 year membership pin.

Mrs. Seidl asked her daughter, Mrs. Bergemann to put the pin on her mother. Mrs. Seidl expressed her good wishes for her faithfulness and confidence in the Society during her many years of membership and wished her many more.

There were three other 50 year members present. Mrs. Seidl gave a short talk afterwards.

Lunch was served by Mrs. Elmer Newman and Mrs. Ellen Halpin. The table was decorated with a purple and white cake with 50 years on it.

Games were played and prizes went to Mrs. Caroline Seidl, Mrs. Lida Young, Mrs. Willard Ziemendorf, Mrs. Anna Duell, Mrs. Jesse Raab, Mrs. Hasting Baird, and Mrs. Iva Millard.
