Sanville, Kay Judith (8 OCT 1966)

White satin bows were on the pews and vases of white gladiolas and pompoms were on the altar of St. Andrew Evangelical Luther Church, Sheboygan for the marriage ceremony of Kay Judith Sanville and Gerald John Bizjak on Saturday, Oct. 8th, 1966. Rev. John I. Hagen performed the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. Mrs. Bruce Erdman was organist and Mrs. John I. Hagen, the soloist, sang "Song of Ruth" and "Wedding Prayer."

Parents of the couple are Mr. and mrs. Bert Sanville, Sheboygan and Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a Glo-lite satin gown with a gently belled skirt, fitted bodice with natural waistline, scoop neckline and kabuki sleeves. Galloon lace bonded the skirt and sleeves. A detachable chapel train was fastened at the waistline. She carried a strand bouquet of white snow creptal pompon and butterfly roses, foliage of ivy and pathos.

Mrs. Curtis Johnson was her sister's matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Kellogg and Mrs. Lee Boldt, both former roommates. They wore vermouth colored brocade and maize colored crepe fashioned with arched waistline, long sleeves and scoop necklines. A double panel of contrasting fabric highlighted the backs of the column skirts. Their headpieces were a floral disc adorned with leaves of net and double face veil, and each carried stand bouquets of yellow jack straw and bronze pompons.

James Beck, a friend of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Curtis Barton and Romaine Ellingson, also friends of the groom. Ushers were Cutis Johnson, brother-in-law of the bride, and Ronald Reineke, cousin of the groom.

A buffet supper from 6 - 8 was held at the Croation Hall, where a reception followed.

The bride is a 1962 graduate of Sheboygan South High School and has a BS in Physical medicine and certificate of physical therapy. She is a physical therapist at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. The groom is a 1959 graduate of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) High School, has a B.S. in civil engineering and in Agriculture, and after completion of his thesis will have a master of science degree in sanitary engineering. He will be with Becher Hoppe Engineering, Wausau, as a civil engineer.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, they will make their home at 303 W. 17th St., Apt. 103, Marshfield.
