C.A. Nelsen's of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 18th, 1966 in the parlors of the Colby Methodist Church. Nelsen, a retired druggist, is well known in the Thorp area for his instruction of Red Cross first aid to the Thorp firemen, for many years. They have five children and seventeen grandchildren, all of whom visited them in August. The children are Marjorie from Chicago, Ill., Carl from Seattle, Wash., Ronald from DeKalb, Ill., Clarence from San Jose, Calif., and Sara (Mrs. Earl Meas) from Milwaukee.
