Eaton Center School opened Sept. 6th with an enrollment of forty-six. Miss Ida Parker of Pittsville is the teacher.

Mrs. Ben Stanley and Mrs. Sam Christie attended the Aid at Huntzicker's Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tompkins and daughter Lorraine attended the fair at Chippewa Falls Wednesday.

Andrew Korntved was taken to the doctor last week on account of illness.

August Luber will have an auction Sept. 28th.

Many of the people of this district have been silo filling this week.

Albert Dawes has been visiting his niece, Mrs. Otto Roehl.

Miss Palmitier, the supervising teacher, visited our school Friday. She had good news for us. Eaton Center School received first honors at the Neillsville Fair, receiving the largest check of &7.25, also the most prizes.

Fred, Geo. And Leonard Kocher attended the Chippewa Fair on Friday.

John Miller and Arthur Pickor also attended the fair at Chippewa Friday.

Miss Minnie Lindquist, who has been visiting Mrs. Otto Roehl, returned to her home at Thorp.
