Werle, Clara (29 June 1884 - 29 March 1972)
Funeral services for Miss Clara Werle, 87, of Loyal, who died March 29 at the
Clark County Home at Owen, were held Satruday, April 1, at 2 p.m. from the
Roycraft Funeral Home at Loyal. The Rev. Gene Carlson of the United Methodist
Church officiated and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Miss Werle, a life-long resident of the Loyal area, was born June 29, 1884, in
the Town of Loyal. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and of its
women’s society, and was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Ella Werle of Owen; and two brothers, Robert
Werle of Spokane, Wa, and John Werle of Helena, Mt.
Pallbearers were: Byron Zepplin, Richard Weyer, William Theisen, Jesse Raab,
Bernard Clouse and Walter Krahn. Mrs. Dorothy Prior sand “Abide with me” and
“Softly and tenderly.” She was accompanied by Mrs. Gladys Olson.
