Sunday supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Moh were Mr. and Mrs. Werner Doehr, Chili, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell lang and family, Spencer and Dan Metko.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Roland Garbisch at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville on November 12.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinsog, Betty and Kip were Tuesday evening supper guests at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jiohnson. The Johnsons are planning to spend the winter months again in Arizona and Texas and left on their way to Texas Saturday.

The West Freemont Homemakers Club was held at the home of Mrs. Leslie Todd, Chili on Wednesday afternoon. The project “What is new in Food Processing” was given by Mrs. Otto Steritzky. There were seven members present.

Lunch was served by Mrs. Todd to the group.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kammerer, Marshfield, were Friday evening visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kammerer.

The Lutheran Laymens League held their monthly meeting at Zion Lutheran Church Sunday evening. The Rev. E. Messerschmidt, Marshfield, was the guest speaker, his topic was “What happens when Christians read the Bible.” A business meeting was held and roll call showed attendance from nearly all the churches from Zoe 11.

A pot-luck lunch was served with the granton ladies as hostesses.

The Zion Lutheran Missionary League held their November meeting at the parish hall Thursday afternoon. The ladies packed winter clothing for World Relief and light summer clothing which will be sent to a Missionary in Venezula.

A short business meeting was held with the president Mrs. Ted Smith presiding; the topic to be given at the December meeting.

Plans were made to have a Christmas party in December with invited guests.
