Levis (24 Aug 1916)

Anna Seelow is ill with appendicitis.

Mrs. J.W. Short was taken to the hospital at Marshfield Saturday to be operated upon for appendicitis.

Mrs. H.B. Schoen and two little girls left Saturday for a visit at Owatta, Minn.

Mrs. J. Wendel and two children spent Tuesday of last week at the home of J. Sanheim.

Mrs. Hockett of Baoz came last week for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Kolar.

Paul Guse was home last week.

Herbert and Lyman Smith of Neillsville spent several days of last week with the Sears family.

J.V. Crater of Chicago is visiting friends here.

Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Pickford of Madison visited at the home of F. Sears the latter part of last week.

Rev. L.B. Coleman and wife of Neillsville visited at the home of L.H. Munson, Tuesday of last week.

Agnes Schroeder of Neillsville is spending the week with her grandparents, H. Blum and wife.

The Ladies Sewing Circle will hold an annual picnic at the Riverside Park, August 27th. All are invited to come.

Josephine Vasko of York is visiting the Daehnart girls.

Mrs. J. Wendel and children of Chicago, who visited for several weeks at the H. Blum home, went to Weirgor Sunday for as few days visit.

Misses Veda and Lilah Jollivette, who visited at the home of Wm. Richmond, went to Thorp Monday for a short visit before returning to their home in LaCrosse.

Miss Mable Cannon of Neillsville is spending the week at the F. Sears home.

Mr. Kifling and family of Shortville visited at the home of J. Frei Sunday.

Alfred Epding went to Chicago Monday.

Albert Meier and family of Grant visited at the Wm. Meier home Sunday.
