Haupt, Janet C. (5 DEC 1953)

Now at home to friends in Janesville are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald T. Bredlau, who were married on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 5, 1953 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Haupt, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Emil Bredlau, route 2, Spencer. The Rev. M.S. Egge, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, officiated.

A Chantilly lace bodice, completed with a jacket, topped the nylon pleated skirt of the ballerina length gown selected by the bride, the former Janet Carol Haupt. Lace and seed pearls trimmed the headpiece that secured her fingertip veil. Red roses composed her bouquet.

Miss Darlene Haupt, carrying a bouquet of yellow, red and white pompoms and gowned in Nile green ballerina length frock served her sister as maid of honor. John Bredlau was best man for his brother.

Following the service the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at the Haupt home. Supper was served at 5:00.

The groom, a graduate of Loyal High School, is employed by Fisher Body Corp. in Janesville.
