Fravert, Alma (20 MAR 1899 - 23 OCT 1953)

Mrs. Otto Fravert, nee Alma Franz, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Franz, was born March 26, 1899 in the Town of Warner (Clark Co., Wis.). She attended school in and around Greenwood.

On Jan. 12, 1921 she was united in marriage to Otto Fravert in Greenwood, and they have resided on a farm four miles northwest of here ever since.

Mrs. Fravert was a member of the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church and its Ladies Aid. She was organist and choir director for many years.

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Leroy, Orlin and Allen, three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Alvin Albert, all of the Greenwood area; five brothers, Fred, Otto and Harold Franz, Sidney, Mont.; Adolph Franz, Medford, Oregon; and Calvin Franz, Greenwood.

Mrs. Fravert passed away at her home on Friday evening, Oct. 23, 1953, following a year's illness.

Funeral services were conducted at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Charles Koch officiated. She was laid to rest in the West Side Cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Wm. Goeke, Henry Vollrath, Philip Vollrath, R.W. Moldenhauer, Norbert Kuester and Arthur Humke.
