Buker, Mr./Mrs. Art (35th - 22 APR 1952)

Friends and relatives held a surprise party on Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker at their home last Tuesday evening in honor of their thirty-fifty wedding anniversary. The honor couple received a purse of money and other gifts from the group, which were presented by Dr. W.W. Olson.

The couple's two children, Mrs. Vernon (Elaine) Mech and Cy were present.

Cards were played for the evening's entertainment and a delicious lunch, prepared by Mrs. Vernon Mech and others, was served buffet style to thirty guests.

Beautiful floral bouquets, which were gifts from the children, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Lyon of Riplinger and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weishaar, adorned the living room. A lovely anniversary cake was made and decorated by Mrs. Harold Weishaar.
