Murphy, Dorothy (100th Birthday - 2013)
Jim and
Joan Fennessy of Neillsville, accompanied by their son, Jim III, have returned
from New York. They helped Joan’s mom, Dorothy Murphy of Syracuse, celebrate her
100th birthday. Other Fennessy family members attending were Cathy and Dan
Schmidt and family, Poynette; Mike and Lea Fennessy, Madison; and Maureen and
Tim Harder and family of Minnesota. The birthday celebration was held in the
banquet room of the Best Western Inn and Convention Center across from the
Syracuse Airport. It was a combination birthday party and family reunion with
approximately 100 people in attendance. Relatives from New York, California,
Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin were in attendance. Dorothy is a lifelong
resident of Syracuse. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank; a daughter,
Delores; and a son, George.
