School close Thursday for a week's vacation.
H.H. Lenz
departed this morning on a flying trip to Stevens Point.
Will, Rob and
Clara Huntzicker spent Christmas with Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Blecha.
John
Nichol is hauling rock to put a basement under his barn. Geo. Poole is
furnishing the rock.
The Heaslett, Ware, Boyce and Dunn families took
Christmas dinner with Mrs. E. Ware of the River Square.
Christmas was
celebrated in our school with a Christmas tree Thursday evening. After an
appropriate program, in which the various members of the school distinguished
themselves, old Santa entered by a window and distributed gifts to the delighted
pupils.
