PLAN FINAL RITES FOR CLARENCE
BRECHT TODAY
Clarence A. Brecht, 43, route 1, Owen, died unexpectedly of
a heart attack at 9:30 a.m. Monday at his home.
Funeral services will be
held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev.
Norbert King will officiate and burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery at
Loyal. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the American Legion
Post.
Clarence A. Brecht was born Dec. 22, 1920, at Cashton, and came to
Loyal as a child with his parents. He had operated a house-moving business there
until five years ago when he moved to the Owen area. His marriage to Shirley
Vogel took place in 1946 at California.
