Bouquets of gladioli and zinnias were placed on the altar of the first Methodist Church at Neillsville for the wedding of Mrs. Rochelle Ann Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mallory, route 2, Granton, who was given in marriage by her father to Robert Eugene Tichy, route 1, Greenwood, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Tichy, Lake Forest, Illinois.

The nuptial rites were solemnized at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 15, by the Rev. Oscar Nicholas. Mrs. Iris Musil was the organist and “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung by Neda and Paula Schafer.

The bride’s floor length gown of angelskin peau had a fitted basque bodice with an alencon lace and pearl-beaded appliquéd scoop neckline. A front panel showed matching alencon lace appliqués and the full back skirt extended into a brush train with a material pouf at the waistline.

Her pearl and sequin tiara held bouffant veil of pale blue illusion. She carried a cascade arrangement of roses, white swainsona and ivy.

Bridal attendants were Miss Judith L. Mallory, Highland Park, Illinois, the maid of honor, and Mrs. Raymond Wetzel, Neillsville, and Miss Elvira Tichy, lake Forest, Illinois, the bridesmaids.

They wore blue lace street-length gowns designed with scoop necklines on the fitted bodices and dome-shaped skirts. Each had a matching pillbox hat with short face veil and carried a cascade arrangement of white pompoms with pink sweetheart roses.

Raymond Wetzel, Neillsville, served as best man while Teddy Stiemke and William Coulthard were groomsmen and Eugene Romsos and Chris Mallory served as ushers.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville and the dance took place at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The newly weds are residing at Route 1, Greenwood, where Mr. Tichy is engaged in farming,

The bride is a 1961 graduate of Gardiner High School, Gardiner, Montana, formerly employed by the National Park Service In Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Her husband was graduated from Loyal High School in 1955.

Coming from out of town for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Romsos and son of Madison; Mrs. Helen Reznick and daughter of Lyons, Illinois; Mrs. Ellsworth, Newton, Libertyville, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Schafer, Loves Park, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schafer, Rockford, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Moeller and daughters and Henry Moeller, Maquoketa, Iowa; Mrs. James Troemner and family, Cedar Falls, Iowa; Mrs. Frank Sladek. Marshfield’ and Laurin Mallory, Milwaukee.

Other friends and relatives came from Pittsville, Granton, Neillsville, Greenwood, Black River Falls, Eau Claire, Kenosha, Wisconsin Rapids, Alma Center, Humbird, Loyal, Oshkosh, Friendship, Chili and from Lake Crystal, Minnesota.
