West, Leland Arthur “Bud” (28 June 1911 - 29
March 1970)
Leland Arthur “Bud” West, 58, of San Bernardino, Calif., died
March 29. He was born June 28, 1911 on Pleasant Ridge, to George and Hazel
(Slocomb) West. He attended the Kurth School and farmed on the Ridge for a few
years before moving to California.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs.
George (Fern) Kuehn of Neillsville, Mrs. Joe (Rica) Kernz of Marshfield, Mrs.
Ernie (Beulah) Reimer of New Era, Mich. and Mrs. Bert (Daisy) Hart of Pacoima,
Calif.; and two brothers, Jim West of Neillsville and Roy West of Marshall.
