The Physics class has finished sound, taken an examination and have now begun to study of that form of radiant energy that is capable of affecting the retna of the eye. Monday and Tuesday the teachers of the lower rooms were much annoyed by a constant din which seems to proceed from the laboratory. On examination of the laboratory it was found to contain carpenters Fradette, Mack and Rand. These three were taking strips of paper on window frames of their own construction. These screens were put into the window for the purpose of darkening the room to better pursue the study of light.

The class in spring botany is advancing fairly well. On the front desks of the school room are four or five dishes in which countless plants in their early stages of growth are taking in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and giving off oxygen. In these boxes, pans and bottles there are several types of plants, such as onions, carrots, pumpkins, beans, oats and peas.

Mr. Dodge tried the new and novel experiment of touching off some powder with a match to see if he could jerk his hand away before the powder went off.

Mr. Dodge has just finished reading The Little Minister to the school. It proved to be an itneresting and profitable reading to most of the pupils.

Miss Alma Austin of Loyal High School visited here Friday.

Bertha Chamberlin visited the school Monday.
