Robert Henry Graham was born in the town of Platteville in Grant County on Sept. 18, 1838, where he grew to manhood. On Jan. 1, 1866 he was united in marriage to Miss Jane Lee, also of Platteville. To them was born one son, John A. of the town of Fremont.

Mrs. B. Schicker, who has been living with her sister, Mrs. Mike Seidelman at Hein for about a year, died on last Saturday morning at two o'clock of a complication of diseases, at the age of seventy-seven years and five months.

John Macksman killed a pine snake on Friday of last week that measured five feet and two inches near Collie Creek on the Twenty-six road.

George Harrington was arrest last Friday night by Marshall Clementson and place in the lockup. He made several threats to do some shooting and on Saturday was taken to Neillsville by the deputy sheriff to have a hearing.
