White, Sylvia (19 January 1913 - 20 February 1970)

Mrs. Sylvia White, 57, of Milwaukee, formerly of Neillsville, died at Milwaukee General Hospital February 20. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. George E. Yons, pastor of the United Church of Christ officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. White, daughter of Harry and Christine (Johnson) Hansen, Taylor, N. D. She moved with her family to Catawba and when she was eight they moved to Clark County, where she attended the Eaton Center and Mound Schools. Her marriage to Francis White took place at Neillsville in August, 1934. Mr. White died in 1959. She had lived the last 28 years in Milwaukee.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Christine Hansen of Humbird; nine children, Mrs. Martin (Joan) Morochnick of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Jerold (Patricia) Tellier, Dixie, Carla, Cynthia, Roger, Jerry, Randy and Robert, all of Milwaukee; seven sisters, Mrs. Robert (Genevieve) Jackson of Greenwood, Mrs. Belle Mazola of Roselle, Ill., Mrs. Dewey (Evelyn) Walker of Fairchild, Mrs. Kenneth (Eleanore) Seelow of Milwaukee, Mrs. M. (Lila) Johnson of Gardiner, Mont.; and Mrs. Harold (Pearl) Prock and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Mortenson, both of Neillsville; four brothers, Melnard Hansen of Greenwood, Orbert Hansen of Gardiner, Mont., Everett Hansen of Neillsville and Leland Hansen of Granton; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Eugene Seelow, Larry Hansen, Richard Seelow, Edward L. Mazola, Wayne Jackson and John Mazola, Jr. Mrs. May Peters sang, “O for a Closer Walk with Thee” and “Just As I am” accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
