------ Bungert, Patricia Ann (30 JAN 1965)

Miss Patricia Ann Bungert and Dale Henry Augustine, both of Kenosha, repeated their marriage vows Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. Thomas Catholic church, Milan.  The Rev. Charles Schumacher officiated at the 10:30 o’clock nuptial mass during which the exchange of promises took place before the alter adorned with white gladioli and pompon sin shades of gold.  Mrs. Otto Netzel was the organist and Mrs. Loyd Bunkelman, the soloist.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bungert of route 2, Athens, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Augustine of route 3, Athens.

Attending the couple as honor attendants were Mrs. James Luetschwager of Athens, an aunt of the bride and Donald Westphal of Hamburg, a friend of the groom.  Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Henrichs of Hamburg, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, Miss Jean Bungert a sister of the bride, and Rodney ??cher, a cousin of the bride both ???? completed the wedding party.

The bride appeared in a sheath gown of peau taffeta with a square shaped train that fell in a panel from the waist in chapel length.  The molded bodice was fashioned with a modified scoop neckline and long sleeves tapering to points over the wrist secured with covered buttons.  The bodice was enhanced with a floral vine design embroidered with sprays of pearl and bugle bead strands with a sequin flower center.  The embroidery was repeated in the side wrap of the slim skirt and a flat bow accented the back of the waist.  The bridal veil of illusion was secured to a headpiece made with a taffeta flower centered with a large pearl and loops of pearl and crystal, edged with leaves of taffeta and lace outlined with pearls and sprinkled with crystal.

She carried a crescent bouquet with a glamellia center surrounded by yellow roses and ivy with ribbon streamers and rose buds.

Her attendants were attired alike in floor length dresses of satin.  The fitted bodices were styled with boat necklines and three-quarter length sleeves.  The long skirts were bell shaped and had soft pleats at the waist line accented by a small bow at the front.  Watteau panels extended down the back from the neckline.

Gold was chosen for the matron of honor and bon-bon bronze for the bridesmaids.

Their ensembles included matching hats of braid and pearl with pouf veils and crescent bouquets of fresh greens with pompons in white and shades of gold.

For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Bungert chose a three-piece dress of gold and green brocade.  The groom’s mother was attired in a two-piece dress of turquoise brocade.  Bother mothers had matching accessories and corsages of pink roses and white pompons.

Festivities of the wedding day began with breakfast for the immediate family at St. Thomas church hall followed by a reception and dance at Prochnow’s Ballroom, Athens.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Augustine are making their home at 2525 79th St., Kenosha, where the groom is employed in assembly at American Motors.  His bride is an IBM key puncher at Eaton Mfg.

About 300 guests attended the wedding coming from Indiana, Minnesota, Illinois, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Wausau, Stevens Point, Park Falls, Eau Claire, Marshfield, Abbotsford, Colby, Athens and Milan
