Goehring, Ruthanne (12 JUN 1965)St. Anthony’s Church of Loyal, Saturday, June12 was the scene of the wedding of Ruthanne Goehring, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Goehring, route 1, Loyal and James Bernard Snedic, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Snedic, Greenwood.

The 12 o’clock noon Nuptial High Mass was solemnized by they Rev. Father Norbert E. King.  Mr. Goehring presented his daughter in marriage.

St. Anthony’s girls’ choir under the direction of Sister Vera Marie sang the Mass with Michael Tucker as organist.

The bride was attired in a white floor length linen, empire styled sleeveless gown, with appliqués on a softly rounded neck line, with embroidered appliqués down the scalloped edge of the removable train.  A closed crown headpiece held the imported illusion 3 tiered veil.  She carried a large bouquet of white hand picked daisies.

The bride’s attendants were Mrs. Gerald Wirtz, Evanston, Illinois, matron of honor, Miss Mary Ann Snedic, Fontana was the bridesmaid.  The attendants were seen in empire styled floor length sleeveless gowns of yellow linen with petals gently draping the shoulder.  They wore matching yellow bow headpieces and carried bouquets of hand picked daisies.

The groom’s attendants were William J. Snedic, brother of the groom as best man and Gerald Wirtz, Evanston, Illinois was groomsman. Ushers were Charles A. Vessel and James Hanson both of Milwaukee.

A dinner followed the ceremony in the church hall.  An afternoon reception and buffet supper was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

The brie was a graduate of Loyal High School and is employed as a legal secretary for Michael, Best and Friedrich, Milwaukee.  The groom graduated from Greenwood High School, received a Liberal Arts Degree from St. Norbert College, DePere and a Civil Engineering Degree from Marquette University.  He is employed at Rex-Chainbelt, Milwaukee.

Friends and relatives came from Milwaukee, Evanston, Illinois; Colorado Springs, Colorado, St. Cloud, Minnesota; Superior, Green Bay, baronet, Eau Claire, Greenwood, Spencer, Willard and Loyal.
