Froeba, Nancy (21 FEB 1965)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding Saturday, February 21 of Miss Nancy Froeba, daughter of Mrs. Loretta Froeba and the late Clarence Froeba, and James E. Steinbach, Granton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steinbach, Granton.

Thomas Froeba, brother of the bride escorted his sister into the church where the Rev. Farther Norbert E. King heard the repetition of marriage vows and presided at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony.  St. Anthony’s Church choir sang the Mass.

Miss Froeba was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace with a jeweled trimmed rounded neckline on the Basque bodice. The bouffant skirt featured tiers of nylon tulle edged with lace in front and a lace back with a flounce near the hemline.  Her veil, which was of silk illusion, was in a bouffant style and secured to a crown of pearls.  She carried a bouquet of white gardenias and pink roses and lilies of the valley centered with a white orchid.

Mrs. Ronald Froeba, Granton was matron of honor and Mrs. Frederick Portz, Marshfield was the bridesmaid.

The bridal aides were attired in midnight blue velvet street length dresses and carried blue and white gardenias set off with pink rose buds.

Best man was Ronald Froeba, Granton and Frederick Portz, Marshfield attended the groom.

Serving as ushers were Herbert Froeba, Loyal and Vernon Steinbach, Granton.

A 12 o’clock dinner was served that noon at St. Anthony’s Church hall with the reception being held at the Loyal Amusement Center and a dance that evening at Granton Hall.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at Silvaplex Co., Marshfield.  The groom attended Granton schools and is employed at Pathfinder, Spencer.

The newlyweds will make their home in Loyal.
