Granton (6 November 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zilk in Neillsville Sunday evening.

The United Methodist Church WSCS will meet today (Thursday) at 1:30 o’clock with Mr. Roland Quicker as hostess. The program chairman for “Roots of Prejudice” will be Miss Daphne Beeckler.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kroeger of Hinsdale, Ill., arrived Saturday to visit her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Moh, and family. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Armin Moh and family joined them.

The Granton Women’s civic club met Monday night at the home of Mrs. Leonard Thiede. Hostesses were Mable Williams and Mrs. Marvin Garbisch.

Miss Pearl Beeckler has been a medial patient at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville since Saturday.
