Rev. J.E. Wiser of City Point delivered a lecture on the no-license question at the Lindsey M.E. Church Saturday evening of last week to an appropriative audience.  He also preached two good sermons Sunday morning and evening.

The schools of Progress and Lindsey are planning a debate in the near future.

H.O. Hazel sawed wood for merchant Broker, the school house and James LePage Monday last.

Elijah Tilton, commonly called grandpa Tilton came to Lindsey for a visit with his son P.J. Tilton for a week or so.

Chris Paulson shipped a car of stock last Monday.

The ladies aid is going to give a sociable at the church this Friday evening.

Mable Broker and Jeneva White were home over Sunday from their Marshfield high school.

W.J. Robinson made a business trip to Marshfield Monday and butchered a fine porker, Tuesday.

A. J.  Prest reports having sold two fine grade Guernsey bull calves recently.  Carl Knudson of Progress got one of them.

Harland Prest has his old position on the section.

A letter from J.A. Bolton to the effect that he has sold his three forties in section twenty.
