Pawlowicz, Diane “Dee” Carol (26 JUL 1945 - 09 APR 2005)

Death notices obtained from the Medford High School, Class of 1963 Index of Kay (Resech) Ludwig.

Diane “Dee” Carol Pawlowicz, 59, Phoenix, Ariz., passed quietly in the early morning of Saturday, April 9 at Banner Gardens Hospice House in Mesa, Ariz. following her courageous battle with small cell lung cancer.

Memorial services are Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home in Chicago.

Capetta Funeral Service of Chicago is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dee was born July 26, 1946 in Chicago, Ill., to Bill and Adelle (Szymelfijnik) Pawlowicz. She moved to Withee, WI in 1949 attending Lakeview elementary School. She later attended Medford Senior High for one year before transferring to Gilman where she graduated in 1963. Diane was always a city girl at heart. She moved back to Chicago at the age of 18 and then to Arizona in 2001.

Diane was a vivacious, beautiful woman. She loved dancing, the company of friends and the outdoors, with extreme interest in Indian ruins and the history that lies behind them. Her dedication to her family and friends were admired by all.

In addition to her mother, Adele (Ed) Tytor of Medford, Diane is survived by her son, Bill Lasse of Chandler, Ariz.; daughters Liana Mike Cisonno of Surprise, Ariz., and Heidi Soergel of Skokie, Ill.; brothers Gary (Mary) Pawlowicz of Medford, Randy, and Ron (Trish) Pawlowicz, both of Medford, WI, and Arch (Ida) Pawlowicz of Phoenix.

She was preceded n death by her father.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to Banner Gardens Hospice House, 7231 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, Ariz.
