Crowley, Beverly (03 Mar 1938-16 May 2013)

Beverly Ann Crowley, 75, Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Chaplain Nancy Simenz officiated. Burial was in the Sheboygan Lutheran Cemetery.

Beverly Ann Wolter was born on March 3, 1938, in Spencer; to Daniel and Nina (nee Castner) Wolter; She graduated from Loyal High School in 1956. She worked as a secretary at Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee, and married James Terrance Crowley on Aug. 9, 1958, in Owen. He preceded her in death in October 1980. Beverly was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. She worked at McDonald’s and at Pick and Save, retiring in 2003. She loved her family, especially her only granddaughter. She enjoyed gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles, cooking and companionship with her pets. She was the designated “stuffing maker” at Thanksgiving, and could also make the best dill pickles.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Tom) Nielsen, Clovis, Calif., Patricia (Timothy) Crowley-Bennett, London, England, James Crowley, Sheboygan, Charles Crowley, Cascade, and Caroline (Joe) Fritsch, Fond du Lac; one granddaughter; Carter Leigh Dettman; two step-grandsons, Kevin and Eric Fritsch, Fond du Lac; three sisters, Diane Schuette, Spencer, Joyce (Charles) Ritzenthaler, West Bend, and Brenda Echeverria, Middleton; and one brother-in-law, John Stock, Owen.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, David Wolter; two brothers-in-law, Eldred Schuette and Raul Echeverria; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Stock.

A memorial fund has been established for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
