Hansen, Mr./Mrs. Louis (60th - 2 SEP 1964)

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hansen celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2, 1964.

The family and a few friends had dinner in the dining area of Medo-Farms, and afterwards went to their home for coffee and cake.

Mr. Hansen and the former Karen Michalesen were married in Norway on Sept. 2, 1904. They came to the United states in May 1906 and settled in Chicago. In 1919 they moved to a farm in Loyal, living there for one year and then bought a farm in Arpin, where they resided until 1928. In that year they moved back to Chicago, living there until 1959 when they came to make their home with their son-in-law and daughter in Stetsonville for a few years before building a home in Abbotsford, where they are residing at the present time.
