Remus, Charles (8 APR 1890 - 7 JUL 1964)

Funeral services for Charles Remus, Athens, were held Saturday, July 11 at the Assembly of God Church in Athens. The Rev. Charles Anderson officiated and burial was made in the Athens Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.

Mr. Remus died at teh age of 74 on Tuesday, July 7, 1964 at Medford Hospital. He was born April 8, 1890 in the town of Frankfort. On Sept. 1, 1915 he was married to the former Ella Lehmann at Athens. They lived in the Athens area for many years, retiring a few years ago.

Charles Remus is survived by his wife, Ella; three sons, William of Milwaukee, Samuel of Monroe, and Harlon of West Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Louis Staudt, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Frieda Held, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Mildred Hermann, West Allis; two sisters, Ella Willert, Athens; Louis Willert, Kansas City, Kan.; and three brothers, John of Clintonville, Richard of Edgar, and Samuel of Athens; and 20 grandchildren
