Olejniczak, Andrew E. (24 NOV 1898 - 21 APR 1965)

Funeral services were conducted at the Thorp Funeral Home on April 24th for Andrew E. Olejniczak, 66, who passed away at his home on R. 1, Lublin of a heart attack April 21, 1965. Chaplin Harry Smith of the Thorp American Legion Post 118 officiated at the ten a.m. service. Burial was made in the east Thorp cemetery and members of the American Legion Post were pallbearers.

Mr. Olejniczak, a retired farmer and saw mill worker, was born Nov. 24, 1898 at Joliet, Ill. He came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents in 1904 and lived in the Thorp area till his death. In 1920 he married Anna Lubrant.

Surviving are three sons, Anton and Walter of Chicago, Stanley of Lockport, Ill.; one daughter (Josephine) Mrs. Alex Gabrys of Gilman; three brothers, Matt and Frank of Thorp, Albert of Kenosha, Wis.; three sisters, (Celia) Mrs. A. Burzynski, (Martha) Mrs. Adam Szerlong of Thorp, (Josephine) Mrs. Don Danielson of Kenosha; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Olejniczak, and one sister and brother.
