Dahl, Mrs. Harold (25 Year Service - 3 May 1969)

The John Wuethrich Creamery Company, Inc. held its 16th company banquet Saturday evening in the dining room of our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The banquet was prepared and served by the ladies of the church.

Special recognition was given to Robert Jackson, the third employee to retire.

Awards for 15 years of service with the company were presented to Earl Caliebe, Donald Kocher, Robert Jackson and George Scherer.

A 25-year service award, a gold watch was presented to Mrs. Harold Dahl.

Safe driving pins were presented to the following: one year, Donald Kocher and Merle Krehmeyer; four years, Thomas Behrens; five years, Raymond Johnson; eight years, Richard Bauer; and nine years, Earle Caliebe.

Group singing was led by Allen Wuethrich, accompanied by Dianne and Tom Zepaltas. Several vocal selections were presented by Donna, Dianne, Debbie and Kathy Zepaltas, accompanied by Tom Zepaltas.

Russell Johannes of the Marshfield experimental station talked about present-day merchandising and services that are included in the price of food and are responsible for today’s spread between the price the farmer receives and the price the consumer pays.

Each lady present received a carnation from the centerpieces that decorated the tables.
