Mrs. Ernest Knuf Passes Away

Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Colby, Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ernest Knuf, 46, who passed away at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at her farm home in the Town of Unity. Mrs. Knuf had been ill for two years.

Rev. Diedrich Kuehl, Lutheran minister from March Rapids, conducted the services and burial was at Cadott cemetery.

Mrs. Knuf was born in Wisconsin Rapids July 20, 1902. When a child, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blaubach, moved to a farm a few miles west of Spencer. She attended Spencer Schools and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Knuf, nee Helen Blaubach, was married to Ernest Knuf in Spencer in October, 1930 and resided near Stratford until moving to their present home two years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by seven children, Evelyn, Philip, Marcus, Ruben, Caroline, Verna, and Neta, all at home. Also surviving are her Mother, Mrs. Emma Blaubach, Spencer, a sister, Mrs. Fred Gumz, Spencer; two brothers, Carl, Wausau and Leonard, Loretta, Mich.; and a step brother, Fred, Hamburg. Her father preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blaubach and family, Hamburg; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Blaubach and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gehard Broders, Loretta, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Blaubach, Wausau; Mrs. Emma Blaubach, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gumz, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Al Blaubach and son Earl, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blaubach, Thiensville; Mrs. Michael Wolz, Milwaukee, Miss Irma Garske, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fischer, Geraldine, Richard, and Darelne, Unity; Miss Mary Jane Fischer and Irvin Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fischer, Mr. and Mrs. August Fischer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fischer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fischer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Knuth, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Haas, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fisher, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ehelrt, Vesper, Miss Ella Ehlert, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Ehlert, Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Seefeldt, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Seefeldt, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Buse, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Strege, Mrs. Rhetta McVean, Miss Elsie Schultz, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fisher, Riplinger; Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Adler, Loyal; and a host of other friends and neighbors.
