CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH SCENE OF LOVELY WEDDING

Guests came from Superior, Wisconsin Dells, Milwaukee, Medford and Rib Lake, from Minneapolis, Minn., and Des Plaines, Ill., to attend the wedding of Miss Sharon Florence LePage of San Lorenzo, Calif., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas LePage, Owen, and Robert Allen Pacheco of San Leandro, Calif., son of the late Mrs. Phylis Alues of Oakland, Calif.

The marriage took place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 before the Rev. Ralph Claybaugh in the First Congregational Church at Owen.  Miss Jane Westendorf was organist and Miss Diane Burhop sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and ‘O Promise Me.”  White gladioli and lavender iris were fashioned into bouquets for the church decoration.

As Miss LePage approached the altar holding the arm of her father, she wore a white organiza-over-satin dress styled with a chapel sweep on the full skirt which had lace appliqués.  The bateau neckline was accented with scalloped lace and a small satin and pearl pillbox hat held her fingertip veil.

The bridal bouquet was a cascade arrangement of white roses and lily of the valley.

The attendants donned floor-length orchid gowns of satin accented with purple cummerbunds, bateau necklines and with the back of their skirts pleated and held by a bow.  Each had a small satin circlet headpiece with a blusher veil and carried an orchid carnation and white stephanotis.

The aides were Mrs. Valerie Dickinson of Milwaukee as matron of honor, and Mrs. Sharon Kurhais, Des Plaines, Ill., Miss Carol Lange, Milwaukee, and Miss Doreen LePage, Owen, as bridesmaids.
