Anna Thompson (1881? - 3 May 1952)

Herman T. Scheibe and his sister, Mrs. Anna Thompson, died within 10 days of each other in Milwaukee when the former passed away April 23, at the age of 88, and his sister died May 3, aged 71 years.

Both were born and reared on the old Scheibe farm in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., WI), the place now occupied by the Archie Mohan family, and were brother and sister of Charles Scheibe.

Herman Scheibe, after moving away from this community as a young man, was a cheesemaker at Plymouth for many years, and more recently had been in the wholesale business at Milwaukee. Funeral services were held at Milwaukee April 26, with burial at Pinelawn cemetery there. Surviving besides his brother are two daughters and two sisters.

Mrs. Thompson, youngest of the family, had resided at Milwaukee for many years, and her husband, Peter Thompson, died several years ago. They had no children. Mrs. Clarence Rankl attended the funeral services, held in Milwaukee Tuesday, with interment made in Pinelawn also.
