Carl Happe did wood sawing for Fred Dankemyer and Otto Spiegelberg Saturday and Monday.

Mrs. Art Garvin is here from Baker, Mont. visiting at Sherman Davis' and other old friends in this vicinity since Friday of last week.

Wellie Davis and Gordon Davis and Stub Schuster went to Maplehurst to take in the deer hunt.

Aug. Dankemyer and son William returned home from Antigo, Wis. Where they took in the deer hunt for a few days. They report no luck.

Geo. Ley and Tom Verkilen came home from Ladysmith where they were hunting.

Ernest Handke went to Lindsey on business, Monday.

Sherman Davis expects to move back on his farm Thursday of this week.

Geo. Gerrits is doing chores for Gordon Davis while Gordon is in the brush dragging out his deer.

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer autoed to Marshfield on business last Sunday.

Al Christensen and family autoed to Guy Cole's Sunday and took in the turkey shoot.

Martin Dankemyer was a Marshfield caller between trains on Monday.

John Rollins went to Granton on business on Tuesday.

The basket social at District No. 4 in Fremont was well attended. The proceeds of $17.00 and a fine program was enjoyed by all.

Henry and Willie Eibergen came home from Tripoli, Wis. For a few days and will return Monday, taking their team back with them.

Geo. Verkuilen is the proud owner of a new Chevrolet car since Monday. Good for you, George.
