Ervin J. Woempner (9 Feb 1913 - 17 Dec 1959)

Funeral services for Ervin J. Woempner, 46, were held from the Fuchsgruber Funeral Parlors here (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) Monday. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran church, officiated at the rites at 2 p. m., and Mrs. Neuman of Unity sang two selections, accompanying herself on the concertina.

Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Fuchsgruber Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Walter Beisner, Ralph Baxter, Robert Baxter, Arnold Lindau, Marvin Plockelman, Albert Lindau.

Ervin Woempner was born Feb. 9, 1913, on the farm in the town of Mayville where he resided all his life. He owned and operated the farm his grandparents settled when they came to this community, living with his brother Henry on the family farm which the latter owns. The brothers' father, Charles Woempner, died A few years ago.

Surviving the deceased, who never married, are his brother Henry, another brother, Arnold, living in Idaho, and a sister Lenora, Mrs. Roy Hardrath, of Unity.
