Ulrich, Walter A. (8 June 1907 – 23 Jan. 2002)

STRATFORD – Walter A. Ulrich, 94, of Stratford, died Jan. 23, 2002, at Northside Elder Estate (a community based residential facility).

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Sauter/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

He was born June 8, 1907, in Stratford to Rudolph and Alvina (nee Schiffer) Ulrich. He married Florence B. Untiet on Sept. 27, 1930 and she died Aug. 23, 2000. He was employed by White House Milk Company which later became Foremost Dairies, retiring in 1972.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Donetta) Ulrich of Stratford, Fredric “Fritz” (Nancy) Ulrich of Stratford and Bernadine “Bonnie” Buchberger of Mosinee; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Alfred (Ceda) Ulrich of Mosinee; and three sisters, Marian Saamio of Mercer, Agnes Kyhos and Lillian Dupuis, both of Mosinee.
