Hoops, Henry (1885 – 1951)

Pallbearers at the Henry Hoops funeral which was held last Tuesday at the Swarthout Funeral Home, were Robert, George and Jessie Witt , Moon, and Lloyd, Verlyn and Wilbur Hoops Spencer, nephews of Mr. Hoops.

In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Edward Voelker, Mrs. John Wry, and Mrs. Darlene Boyer, Spencer, and Eunice Ellen and Katable Witt, Moon, nieces of the deceased.

Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz, Mrs. Arthur Kuehmichel, Mrs. Walter Luepke and Mrs. Carl Graupner sang "Who Knows When Death May Overtake Me,” and "Abide With Me".

Rev. Randolph Mueller, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church officiated at the services and burial was at Moon.

Out of town relatives and friends at the services included Mr. and Mrs. Gust Natzke, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krahn, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Rose, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Setradel, Mr. and Mrs. Carol Loppman and son, Marvin and Elmer Schroeder, Wayside; Mr. and Mrs.. Edwin Schroeder, Glenbuelah; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Natzke, Merrill; Mr. and Mrs.. Arthur Natzke, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Graham and daughter, Doris, Sycamore, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Mellenthine, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hoops, and Mrs. Harold Fisher, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marten, Freemont; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Turner, Mrs. Lizzie Turner, and Mrs. H. M. Daniels, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hoops, Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Phillips, Lily; and many friends from Wausau, Loyal, Veefkind, Unity and Marshfield.

CARD OF THANKS

We wish to thank our many friends and neighbors for the sympathy and kindness during our recent bereavement, the death of our dear husband and father, Henry Hoops. A special thank you to Rev. Mueller, the singers, pallbearers, and flower girls, those who gave flowers, and for memorials, Mr. and Mrs. Swarthout and all others who helped in any way.
