Quimby, L. L. (1871? – 19 Oct. 1941)

Spencer -- (Special) - Word has been received here of the death of L. L. Quimbly, 70, former publisher of the Spencer Record, at his home in Anoka, Minn., at 10 A. M. Sunday, as a result of a stroke.

Formerly a publisher in Iowa and in Minnesota, Mr. Quimby published the Spencer paper for a period of 12 years before his recent retirement. He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.

Funeral services are to be conducted at the Anoka Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon.

Note: His date of death is from the Minnesota Death Index, 1908-2202, and states his first name was Leland.
