Lubinski, Rosemarie F. (17 July 1935 – 9 Jan. 2009)

Rosemarie F. Lubinski, 73, of Stevens Point, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Church, Stevens Point. Family and friends can call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters Church until the time of services.

The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rosemarie F. Lubinski, 73, of Stevens Point, died late Friday evening at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, surrounded by her loving family.

Rose was born July 19, 1935, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Steven and Clara (Radomski) Daczyk. She attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. Her marriage to David Lubinski took place Feb. 15, 1975, at Saint Peter's Church, Stevens Point.

After their marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point, and have lived at their present address the past 34 years. Her husband, David, survives. Rose worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company for 21 years. She recently worked for Sentry Insurance until her retirement in 1997. Rose enjoyed fishing with her husband, David, knitting, cooking and baking. She also did crossword puzzles, but cherished and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Rose's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include her husband, David Lubinski, Stevens Point, four stepchildren, Mary Boris, Plover, Laura (Daniel) Cichosz, Stevens Point, Paul (Mary Ann) Lubinski, Stevens Point, and Jane (Dave) Zwicki, Plover; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Joan Daczyk, Plover; and one brother, Leonard Daczyk, Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin C. Louis officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Saint Faustina Room of Saint Peter's Church until the time for Mass. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
