Reckner, Jerald H. (12 May 1932 – 27 Nov. 2008)

MILWAUKEE -- Jerald H. Reckner, 76, of Milwaukee, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Saturday at St. Peter Immanuel Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Krause Funeral Home, Milwaukee, with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m.; and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

He was born May 12, 1932, the son of Herman and Bernice Reckner of Stratford.

Jerry served in the Army during the Korean War. He is a former Milwaukee Police Officer and founder of MJ Marketing and Associated Speakers. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Judith (Mike) McCaigue and Janet (Brett) Henning; two sons, David Reckner and Mike Reckner; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Pat) Reckner and Ken (Paulette) Reckner; and a sister, Shirley (Jim) Paap.
