Milan, Wis. – Dec. 6, 1934

The Milan Woman’s Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Paul Benzmann Thursday, Dec. 13.

There was no school Monday as Mr. Crocker was unable to get back on account of the snow. Neither did any mail come through on Monday.

Mike Nehring and Arnold Kallien were at Perkinstown Friday.

Galen Schmidt and Ray Miller were at Abbotsford Sunday.

Gordon and Merlyn Zell, of Glenn Flora, spent the past week at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Peham and their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Zell.

Vernon Schmidt and Herman ? returned to Madison Saturday after visiting since Tuesday with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schmidt.

Already there’s a Big Toy Sale at Gambles at reduced prices. Tinker Toy, 29 cents, Xmas Tree Light Sets, 29 cents – 50 cents Buck Rogers Rocket Pistol, 29 cents – Lionel Mechanical Freight Train, 79 cents – Mickey Mouse Hand Car with Track, 79 cents – 25 Xmas Cards in a box, 19 cents.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hannemann spent Thursday at the home of his brother Herman and family at Edgar.

Paul Tonn and family and Miss Anita Marquardt of Milwaukee, spent several days here with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Marquardt.
