William Fisher operated a machine shop on west Clark Street. It was a one story building but he added an upper story to be used for living quarters.

In the fall of 1951 Melvin Tremmel purchased Fisher’s building and opened this shop in 1952. His specialty is welding. However, he does repair work and sharpens saws and any other tools in need of such service.
