-Degnitz, Anita (Marriage – 20 Feb. 1935)

The Lutheran church of Spencer was the scene of the marriage of Miss Anita Degnitz, town of Sherman daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Degnitz, Loyal and Walter Giloy, town of Sherman, son of Charles Giloy, Loyal.

The service was ready by the Rev. A.C. Stapel at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon. (hand written in date reads Feb. 20, 1935)

Misses Frances Reidel and Leona Warnecke attended the bride and the groomsmen were Walter Degnitz and Howard Youmans

The bride chose for her wedding a gown of white silk and wore a long veil. She carried flowers. The bridesmaids were dressed in tan and green and carried sweet peas and carnations.

Immediate relatives and friends who witnessed the ceremony were later present at a 6 o'clock dinner for 50 guests. The home was decorated festively in yellow, white and pink.

Mr. and Mrs. Giloy will live with the groom's father at Loyal where Mr. Giloy is employed as a farmer.
