Rueben Louis Ahlquist, 83, Edgar, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Harbor House, Wausau.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at St. Matthew

Evangelical Lutheran Church, 712 2nd Street, Marathon. Rev. Jon W. Hadler will

preside. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon, at a later date. Friends may call from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, 327 N. 3rd Avenue, Edgar and again from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. There will be a 6:00 p.m. prayer service on Sunday at the Edgar funeral home.

Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Edgar Memorial Post #10187 and Edgar

American Legion Sawyer-Drumm Post #393 immediately following the service at the

church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marathon.
